Mike and I had discussed the possibility of doing a "Thank You" BBQ for the area offices. They do so much for our mission and the other mission as well. So, today was the day! We took our BBQ grill and all the fixin's for a good ol' fashion BBQ. Hermana Cook made a wonderful fruit salad and I made my oatmeal chocolate chip cookies.
No one had ever done anything like this for them before.

We all had a great time together and the weather was perfect for us! It is springtime, so one never knows if it is going to be cold or not.
We also had the office elders and the sisters come and join us. We sang a song for them and tears were plenty.
Most people in Uruguay use a "parilla" so some of our area office staff had never seen a BBQ grill like ours!
