Getting ready for our weekend baking cookies for the missionaries that help us with the capilla abiertas. I also do extra when we visit the houses to deliver their emergency food and detectors. Because cooling racks do no exist here, Mike created one for me! This is my clothes rack for drying our laundry. He took some screening material we had and just draped it over the top. Perfect!
This is my cooling rack. It is really the rack that fits in the bottom of a chicken roaster pan I bought. It holds 12 cookies. |
This is what Mike invented for me! |
With two ovens going because I can only fit one tray in each oven, I get alot of cookies done in half the time! This room is our drying room where we hang our clothes to dry. |
Capilla Abierta in Paso de los Toros (a long drive)
This ward had great participation from the members and the Stake President. The night was memorable for all who participated and one reference from a non member was very favorable.

On our way home this was a funny thought that came to my mind:
"I think I should be seeing Tinky-Winky, Dipsy, Laa Laa and Po coming right over
those green hills amidst the blue skies and white clouds of Uruguay. Teletubbies where are you?"
Hermana Sanders needed some medical attention, so her and Hermana Eddington were our guests. I love guests! |
We received a Christmas card today March 31. The card was mailed December 19. But it is always nice to get stuff from home no matter when it decides to arrive! |
