Mold Takes Over Again

Friday, August 21, 2015

A long day of painting the sister's house in La Paz.  The house had mold pretty bad.  The sister cleaned it all, ready for painting. The mold problem is with the missionaries from the United States.  We close all our windows and doors during the winter.  Here it is a more humid climate and because of the cement houses, ventilation is a must even during the cold winter.  When they leave for the day the new slogan is:
LEAVE the windows open, RETURN with honor.

Kitchen

Bathroom was good. Just a poor paint job from before.

Front Room

Front room but they sleep here too.

Progress

Looking much better.

One ceiling section left.

Did not have time to finish the last coat of paint in the kitchen.
Already 10:30 pm.
Next week.

Capilla Abierta for Lomas de Solymar.  As predicted by me, Elder Burnett could not join us.  He way over did it yesterday when painting.  He had a debilitating headache.  Fortunately, the Anderson's were not busy and they helped me load up the van and I drove. Lomas de Solymar is close to us, only a 1/2 hour drive.
Those that attended this activity enjoyed it. They also had a less active family that came and participated.
