P-Day. The sisters came over to use our computers,
so of course I fed them. This is the
message they left on our board:

Spent the day at the
mission home to help cook and feed the missionaries. The zone leaders came in
for their monthly “concilio” which is “council meeting”. I fixed the cole slaw. HUGE bowl was devoured. It is a pretty good slaw with apples,
carrots, green onions and red bell peppers.
I used the same dressing I use for the broccoli salad.
Fortunately, the mission home has an ancient “salad master” grater so it made cutting the cabbage so much faster. It was so old it had no grip left to make it stable so I held the grater in place and Mike did the grating. He did 5 big cabbages!

Rainy day! We were going to go tour up the coast with
the Harris’ but we canceled because of rain.
I send out alot of
emails today which is all part of our capilla abiertas. Some are getting paperwork that we send out
before the capacitacíons, others are getting paperwork before their capilla
abierta and still others are getting a thank you for doing the capillia
abierta. One last email goes out about 3
weeks after the capilla abierta to ask about baptisms because of the capillia
abierta. When we are in full swing, it
is a lot to keep track of.
I also went over to
Sister Harris’ to help her work on a new mission cookbook.
We were able to get
back to the mission office today to begin to help take care of office finances.
This is what we found on our board at the office:
