Hermana's Zone Conference, Activities with Purpose

Friday, October 24, 2014

We had a great time with the Hermana's Conference. I made chicken salad croissant sandwiches for their lunch.  Very yummy but very labor intense because the grapes down here always have seeds.

True to the nature of women,
their conference had fun decor.

Each activity had a purpose.
Balance in a missionary's life.
Egg Walk.

Working together.
3 legged race.

Relationships are fragile. Handle with care.
Water balloon toss.

Daughters of a King!

Limited resources, but always creative.
During the last part of the conference just before lunch, everyone received a personal letter from home.  Hermana Cook received one from her husband and I received one from Mike titled, "I Feel I Have Always Known You".  Actually it is a beautiful love poem and I cried in front of everyone. But then I noticed everyone had tears in their eyes, reading about how much we are all loved.

I have posted this treasured poem as a story in familysearch.org.  I want my posterity to know how much we love each other.
