Camila, one of our less actives, had her twins on the 17th. They are boys. We went to the hospital to visit them and I came out of there with a HUGE appreciation for our women's centers we have in the states. I felt like we were in the era of the 1940's. Thank you IHC and for free enterprise. The boys were born healthy. One got fluid in his lungs so they are watching him closer. I of course held them and loved them. You don't need to speak spanish to love.
Today we did a Capacitacion in San Carlos Ward. We brought Elder and Sister Harris with us. It is a great opportunity for them to see Uruguay and to meet members in their own wards. They see alot of these brothers and sisters when they attend the temple.
We also enjoy the unique sites of Uruguay.
The Gauchos were having a rest stop that we crazy Americans
took pictures of from our van.
Our next site was a graveyard of old trucks and cars.
It would be a "gold mine" for antique restorers.
The old horse-drawn milk wagon was my favorite.
We thought this looked like Bonnie and Clyde's vehicle. |
