Nothing Like Waking up to an Armada!

Friday, November 14, 2014
I woke up this morning and looked out our window only to find these facing us! It was a little unnerving.

So, I talked to our maintenance man, Andres, and in my broken spanish, because Mike was not with me, I asked him, Que es? and pointed to the boats. He proudly told me the story and I did catch the word amada and punta (point) but I just smiled like I knew exactly what he was saying which is the norm for me.  After he explanation I said, No bang, bang? and played charades with my fingers and held them out like guns and pointed them to me.  He laughed and laughed. He loves my broken spanish.

The Anderson's are here and what an awesome couple. They arrived around 1:30 pm.  We were able to get most furniture for them, except couches for their front room. But at least they have a nice bed to sleep in, a small table with chairs for eating, a little bit of food in their cupboards and fridge.
They will be working in the Self Reliance program and so they have a different boss. It is not President Cook.  We spent most of the day with them, showing them around.

Elder Anderson left, Sister Anderson right

These are school kids dressed in their
uniforms. They were on a field trip and
they flock around anyone speaks English.
